Just a quick heads up this may not be the most exciting article you’ve ever read. It is however important as it provides an overview on what information I collect, how I collect and store it and how I use personal data you provide when visiting my website. So here goes.....please feel free to grab your coffee now.

Information I collect 

• Any information you enter on my website or any information you provide such as comments and personal profile details left on my blog posts or instagram posts (pictures feed through to my website).  

• If you subscribe and provide your email addresses.

• Information to process orders. 

• I use analytic programs such as Google Analytics to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages and page interaction information.

• If you conduct a transaction on my website, as part of the process I will collect personal information you provide such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.  

• Via cookies 

 

 How I use the information 

• To send you emails. If you have subscribed to my website I will send you email updates to let you know when new content has been added. 

• To process orders. In processing your order I may send your details to companies I work with to get your orders to you, such as payment service providers, and delivery companies (when I start delivering outside of my local delivery areas). I use Stripe to process online orders. You can view their Privacy Policy here. I will be using DPD to deliver your bouquets/arrangements when I start delivering outside of my local delivery areas. • In the event of any issues with any purchases I will contact you through your chosen communication channel. 

• To understand how my website is being used I use Google Analytics to tell me where you, my lovely readers are based, how long you are spending on my site and how many reads my blog posts have had. Google Analytics stores all of this information and you can find their privacy policy here.

Why I collect  personal information ​

• To contact you, my readers (if you subscribe) with updates.

• To process orders.

• To review statistical data to provide and improve my updates and services. 

• To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

Protecting your data 

I take security of your personal data very seriously and have controls in place to ensure your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed. Below details the controls I have in place to fulfil this: - 

• I anonymise and group personal information from different customers so that it does not identify you. I use Gmail to manage all emails. Their Privacy Policy can be found here. 

• I will not sell any of your personal data to any third party – including your name, address, email address or credit card information. 

• All data is stored using Microsoft office. You can view their Privacy statement here. 

• I do not store any paper-based records and any paper based confidential material is disposed of via shredding 

• Please be aware I do link to other sites within my website which means once you are on their site, I am no longer responsible for the privacy of your information. 

• My website is hosted on the Wix.com platform, providing me with an online platform that allows me to sell my product and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Their privacy policy can be viewed here. 

 

Your rights  

You have the right to: 

• Access the personal information I hold about you. 

• Correct your personal data when inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. 

• Unsubscribe/ask for your personal data to be deleted.  

• Provide and withdraw your consent for me to use your personal data at any time.
